Heartfelt Thanks

The Winter Exuberance Dance was a huge success.  Thanks to the organizers, the three callers, the two bands, and to each and every one of you who attended or contributed in some way.  Your enthusiasm and friendship filled the hall and made it worthwhile for all who participated.  We had so much fun!

Deborah is extremely humbled and appreciative of the selfless and very generous contributions you all made on her behalf.  She is well on her way of reaching her goal of attending the dance month in New Zealand.

Contra Dance Day

Dance away the winter blues on Saturday January 9, 2010

(It’s an extra 2nd Saturday dance day in Gainesville!)

 

Afternoon & Evening Dances

$7 for the whole event (adjustable for families)

 

Dance 4 – 7

Potluck  7:00 – bring a dish, and a chair if you can!

Dance 8 – 11

 

Afternoon Band:  The Flying Turtles.  Afternoon Caller:  Charlie Dyer

 

Evening Band:  Rich Crew & Vic Call of Irrational Exuberance, and Friends

Evening Callers:  Susie Rudder & Gary Arthur

 

Location:  601 S. Main St., Gainesville, Florida

 

Entrance and Parking are in the back; the parking lot connects to the Baird Center.

There is a wood dance floor.
